The Overlook · For professionals & small business owners

You don't need
a CS degree.
You need a guide.

Start with one hands-on workshop that sets AI up for your business. Go further with a four-week course where you build your own tools, agents and automations.

Part one · The Overlook Workshop

One hour.
AI set up for your business.

Most people use AI like a search box and get generic answers. In one hands-on hour you'll set it up so it knows your work, build a tool from your own files, and teach it one of your processes. You leave with three things you built.

$97
Small rooms · In person in Monmouth/Ocean County, virtual sessions to follow · Dates to be announced
A Claude Project that knows your business, your customers and your tone
A tool you'll use Monday, built from your own files: a quote calculator, an intake checklist or an FAQ sheet
A skill: one of your processes, taught once, so Claude follows it every time
The habit that matters most: checking the answer before you trust it
A live tour of what's next: drafts in your email and chores that run on a schedule
Going further? Your $97 comes off the course

What to bring
A laptop (any kind, Chromebooks are fine) and a free Claude account. Nothing to install; one setting to switch on, and we'll send two-minute instructions.
Bring two or three real files, like your price list or an email you were proud of. We'll use them in the session.
Everything you build works on Claude's free plan. Connecting your email and scheduling a chore are shown live, so you'll know exactly what's possible when you're ready.
No coding experience needed. Built for small business owners, solo professionals and anyone whose week runs on email, calendars and documents.
Why not a free course?
Some are good. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Microsoft all teach their own tools for free, and I've gone through them so you know which are worth your time.
What they can't do: work on your business. Here you use your own files, with someone beside you when something won't upload or an answer looks wrong, and you get an honest view across the assistants, not one company's pitch. You leave with it working, not a certificate.
Part two · The Overlook Course

Ready to build your own?
Four weeks, $497 founding price.

The workshop sets AI up for the work you already do. The course teaches you to build your own tools, agents and automations, and put them online. Everything from here down is about the course.

The origin story

It's 5am. Coffee in a favorite mug. A candle lit. Still in my pajamas on the couch, Sunny curled up at my feet.

And on my lap — a laptop I wiped clean, installed a fresh operating system on, and set out to teach myself something entirely new.

I'm a PhD mechanical engineer. I've taught at universities and high schools for over a decade. I'm a mom of two. And I had this quiet, growing feeling that I was stifling something.

I knew AI was changing everything. I could feel it. But every time I thought of where to start, I hit a wall.

So I just started. Every morning before my family woke up. One file at a time.

And now I want to hand you the map.

"I didn't have a CS degree. I didn't have startup funding. I had a used laptop, a Claude subscription, and a lot of early mornings."
— Dr. Jami Saffioti, Founder of Noros Solutions
Things Jami built from scratch
Metal bending calculator — a custom shop tool for her dad's construction business, built and deployed
LogicLab circuit simulator — a browser-based digital logic tool that replaced discontinued classroom software
AI-powered AP tutoring app — Socratic method, real AP questions, zero answers given
Sales quote automation system — reads leads, drafts documents, and sends the emails on its own
AI agent mission control — research, content, and monitoring running on a schedule, autonomously
The transformation

Where you start.
Where you land.

Day 1
"I want to use AI but I don't know where to start. I'm not a programmer. I've been meaning to figure this out for months. There's not enough time in the day and I can't find anything built for someone like me."
Day 28
"I just deployed my own AI-powered tool. It has a URL I can share with anyone. I know how to keep building. I'm not waiting for permission anymore — and I finally have the morning I've been designing in my head."

How it works

Built for people
with full lives.

Self-paced curriculum
Step-by-step written guides with screenshots, at your own pace. No live attendance required. Designed for 3–5 focused hours per week — one early morning and a weekend afternoon.
Private community
Access to The Summit — a private community for Overlook Course students and graduates. Post your builds, ask questions, and get Jami's personal feedback throughout the 4 weeks.
Lessons that keep up
AI tools change every few months. When they do, the lessons get updated — and you get every update, so what you learn stays current.
Monthly summit calls
Live community calls where students share builds, Jami teaches one new technique, and the group problem-solves together. Optional, and open to every student.
Founding Climbers cohort
You're not just a student — you're Cohort 1. The Founding Climbers. Your feedback shapes the program. That status is yours forever. The founding price closes when Cohort 1 fills.
Lifetime access
Community and curriculum updates — yours for life. AI moves fast. The course keeps up, and so will you.
Is this for you?

This IS for you.
Unless it isn't.

The course is for you if...
You're tech-comfortable but have never written code
You're a mom, solopreneur, or building between the cracks of a full life
You've been meaning to figure out AI for months
You want a real tool — not just to prompt ChatGPT better
You're willing to show up and do the work for 4 weeks
You want to be part of something — not just consume content alone
The course is not for you if...
You're an experienced developer looking for advanced training
You want someone to build things for you (that's Summit Advisory)
You can't commit 3–5 hours per week for 4 weeks
You're looking for a get-rich-quick shortcut

What $497 actually buys
27 lessons · 4 weekly deliverables · one deployed tool with a URL you can share
The automation skills you'll practice here are the same ones small businesses hire outside help for. What you do with them is up to you — what the course gives you is the capability.
It costs a fraction of a coding bootcamp or a few sessions with a business coach. This is 4 weeks of guided, hands-on building with someone who has done exactly what you want to do.
The course teaches skills. It doesn't guarantee income, and results vary.
Common questions

You're probably
thinking this.

"I'm not technical enough."+
This is literally the point of the course. You don't need to be technical — you need to be willing. Jami started with a wiped laptop and a YouTube rabbit hole. The curriculum is designed for exactly where you are right now. If you can navigate a browser and download an app, you have everything you need to start.
"I don't have time."+
The course is designed for people with full lives — 3 to 5 focused hours per week. That's one early morning and a weekend afternoon. If you can find the time to scroll for AI tips, you can find the time to actually learn them. The curriculum is self-paced, so you work when it works for you.
"$497 is a lot of money."+
It is. For context: it costs a fraction of a coding bootcamp or a few sessions with a business coach, and you finish with a deployed tool, not a certificate. The real cost is two more years of scrolling without a map. The founding price closes when Cohort 1 fills.
"The AI companies have free courses now. Why pay for this?"+
Some of them are good, and the course points you to the few worth your time. But free courses teach one company's tool on a sample business, at your own pace, alone. The course is built on your business: your files, your processes, your customers. You get a guide, a community, a deliverable every week, and Jami answers every question personally during the program. You finish with your own tool online, an assistant that reads your files and a chore that runs without you. Not a certificate for watching videos.
"What if I fall behind?"+
There's no "behind" in the course — the curriculum is self-paced. But the community and weekly deliverables create natural momentum. And if you get genuinely stuck, the help channel and Jami are right there. You're not doing this alone. That's the whole point.

Already past the basics? I'm considering a deeper course on the behind-the-scenes work: building inside Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. If you'd want it, join the list.
